Spirulina - from Auroville :

In 1997, Aurospiral started growing spirulina for the inhabitants of Auroville, as international township formed on the basis of the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Simplicity Spirulina Farm, situated alongside the Bay of Bengal, produces high quality spirulina which is grown by eco-friendly methods made possible by the highly alkaline PH level of the spirulina culture, without the use of herbicides or pesticides, or other materials harmful to the environment.

Our spirulina is sun-dried, which gives it a special energy and a wonderful taste. In its World Food Coference of 1974, United Nation lauded spirulina as being possibly “the best food for the future”.
