Cinnamon was imported into Europe in the XVII century by thePortuguese, who captured  Sri Lanka. This is 10 to 15 meters  tree with white / yellow flowers. Its leaves are green, thick and brilliant. Cinnamon spice is extracted from bark  and is sold in rollers of dried bark.
